The difference in the inside diameter and outside diameter of the protection tube does not affect the response time.
When installing the NTC temperature sensor, pay attention to the mechanical strength. In particular, pay attention to the location where the installation is not allowed to have moisture so as to prevent the NTC thermistor chip from being penetrated by the moisture in the probe seal. In addition, it should also be noted that during installation, temperature sensors should be installed in a location that is as representative as possible. Avoid installation at dead angles, avoid strong magnetic fields or heat sources, and reduce the impact of external factors on the results. Moreover, the temperature sensor is preferably installed vertically to prevent deformation due to high temperatures and a very good installation location for the pipe bends.
